Freedom of the Monsoon
Freedom of the Monsoon

by Malika Gandhi
FREE $3.99 on Kindle

Dawn broke and India witnessed a new revolution: Gandhi. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. His strong, forceful words spread to the North, the South, to the East and to the West.

“Free India”

It’s August 1942, Mohandas Gandhi calls for immediate independence and the Quit India Movement begins.

From the birth of the Movement to the fall of the British Raj in 1947 and the rise of two new nations: India and Pakistan, Freedom of the Monsoon follows the interwoven lives of five friends as they strive to survive these often cruel and murderous times of change…

Gypsy Bond
Gypsy Bond

by Lindy Corbin
FREE $0.99 on Kindle

At sixteen, Juliet Bailey was hand-fasted to the gypsy, Marko, but when the tribe moved on, she was left behind. For years, she has endured snubs and snide remarks whispered behind lace fans. Now that the gypsies have returned, she demands her rightful place beside her husband.

Marko, who returned to Derbyshire to lay aside his memories of their rash affair, refuses to acknowledge the union. Though attracted to her still, he is convinced that her happiness lies in taking a husband who is her peer.

Stung by Marko’s rejection, will Juliet choose the path that will separate them forever?

Journey Through The World of Spirit: God, Gaia and Guardian Angels
Journey Through The World of Spirit: God, Gaia and Guardian Angels

by David L. Oakford and John Jay Harper
FREE $4.99 on Kindle

This is the detailed near-death experience of David Oakford. Triggered initially by a fatal drug overdose, David became bewildered then frightened to find that we do not “die.” But instinctively he knew to pray to God and was soon rescued by a wise guardian angel he calls “Bob.” Specifically, David shares what he was shown concerning the life-after-death realms: heavens, light beings, dark souls, the life-force energy dynamics of our planet and its inhabitants, and the lessons-learned from a panel of evaluators.

This clearly-written, plain-talking account of the life, death, and rebirth cycle provides much food for thought for all leaders and members of the world’s major religions to contemplate. The single truth that shines through this old, old story is this one realization: Love is the answer to life’s questions when all is said and done.

More Than Human
More Than Human: Embracing the Promise of Biological Enhancement

by Ramez Naam
FREE on Kindle

Distilling the most radical accomplishments being made in labs around the world, including gene therapy, genetic engineering, life extension, brain-computer interfaces, and cloning, More Than Human offers an exciting tour of the impact biotechnology will have on our lives. Throughout this remarkable trip, author Ramez Naam shares an impassioned vision for the future with revealing insight into the ethical dilemmas posed by twenty-first-century science. Encouraging us to celebrate rather than fear these innovations, Naam incisively separates fact from myth, arguing that these much-maligned technologies have the power to transform the human race for the better, so long as individuals and families are left free to decide how and if to use them.

The Black Witch
The Black Witch

by Micheal Rivers
FREE on Kindle

It was the adventure of a life time. In an obscure marina off the shores of Maryland a schooner unlike any other ever built was discovered. Dorian and Diana Coe purchased the schooner and sailed from the shores of tranquility into the bowels of hell itself.

Prurient tales of suicide, murder, and the disappearance of an entire crew were hand written within the ship’s logs.

On her decks sailed a well seasoned Captain and crew that never knew the schooner’s shadowed past. The new owners ignored the words of men with integrity and sailed the Black Witch in the Spring of 1935.

Into the realms of illusion and pure evil the ship and its compliment sailed never knowing the fate awaiting them!

Could you find some more horror or is there a page that just specializes in it. If there is not I know of a huge audience that would love to see a horror and sci fi page.

Stephanie Sowell Mann January 31, 2012 at 4:14 pm

If you look on the top left side of this page you will see the different genres listed. Horror is one. Click on it and see all posts for that genre. You can also do a search on the amazon page by genre. Then sort the list by price to show free stuff first. :) (did I say genre enough?)

Cj Long January 31, 2012 at 4:23 pm
