The Watcher (Bigler County Romantic Thriller)by Jo Robertson FREE on Kindle Forensic psychiatrist Kate Myers believes the killer of two teenage girls in Bigler County, California, is the same man who savagely murdered her twin sister over fifteen years ago. Working with a single-minded tenacity, she sets out to prove it. Deputy Sheriff Ben Slater hides his personal pain behind the job, but Kate’s arrival in his county knocks his world on its axis. He wants to believe her wild theory, but the idea of a serial killer with the kind of pathology she proposes is too bizarre. The killer wants nothing more than to kill the “purple-eyed girl again.” |

Force of Habitby Alice Loweecey FREE on Kindle Giulia Falcone is convinced she’s going to Hell. First, because she left the convent. Second, her new job with a private investigator has her sneaking around and lying. Adjusting to life in the outside world isn’t easy. Makeup, dating, and sex are all new to her. And despite a crush on her boss Frank Driscoll—a foul-mouthed, soft-hearted ex-cop—Giulia is sure he’d never fall for an ex-nun. Her first case involves drop-dead handsome Blake Parker, a man with immense wealth and an ego to match. He and his fiancée are getting disturbing “gifts” with messages based on biblical verses. When Giulia is drawn into the stalker’s twisted game, salacious photos of her appear, threatening her job and her friendship with Frank. No one imagines—least of all naïve Giulia—the danger ahead, when following the clues turns into a fight for her life. |
Choose – Echo’s Voice: Episode Iby Sarah Mankowski *OFFER EXPIRED* What if citizenship and advancement meant signing a life-contract to the government or approved corporation? In this future world, innovation, creativity, even fertility have nearly vanished. Those who can afford artificially-lengthened lifespans amass obscene wealth and power. Some say this society is too civilized to be called a slave state. Yet those that walk away become despised “nobodies” who must forage in the shadows. What would you choose? |
WIREMANby Billie Sue Mosiman FREE on Kindle He waited in the shadows, a dark and deadly presence. He was no novice at this terrible trade–he had struck before and he would strike again. Soon he would have one more to add to his growing list unless they could stop him. But how could they when they didn’t know who he was? What he was? To a terrified city he was known only as the Wireman. Set in the 1970s, two brothers return from the Vietnam war with blood on their hands. Learning to kill the enemy wasn’t something that would go away when they returned home to Houston, Texas. Could one of them be the serial killer, Wireman? Could the other stop him? |

Thanks for all the free books, never at a loss for reading material now, there's a book to fit what ever mood I'm in.
Oh, PLEASE let Never Smile at Strangers be better written than its description. When did the phrase "begs the question" start being used to mean "brings up the question?" It actually means somethig closer to "doesn't answer the question." As, "Is the Bible true?" "The Bible says it's true, so it must be true." THIS "begs the question." It beggars the question, pretending to answer it, but faking it with faulty reasoning. I can't bear writers who don't know their own language.
love all my free books, Thanks pixel.

Thank-You!
We love pixel of ink!
got so many books I will probably never read them all lol.
Iam sorry to ask again, but I still haven't seen a reply, yet… Can you (POI), please, put the genre with the titles… it is very hard to figure which books are, say, romance vs. horror. I have seen a post or 2 here on POI, that had the genre by the titles. Why can't itbelike that all the time?
Maybe I am aloneinthis request, but I don't think so.
