Maura Sullivan never intended to set foot in Granger, Ohio, again. But when circumstances force her to return, she must face all the disappointments she tried so hard to leave behind: a husband who ignored her, a congregation she couldn’t please, and a God who took away everything she ever loved.

Nick Shepherd thought he had put the past behind him, until the day his estranged wife walked back into town. Intending only to help Maura through her crisis of faith, Nick finds his feelings for her never died. Now, he must admit the mistakes he made, how he hurt his wife, and find a way to give and receive forgiveness. As God works in both of their lives, Nick and Maura start to believe they can repair their broken relationship and reunite as man and wife. But Maura has one more secret to tell Nick before they can move forward. It’s what ultimately drove her to leave him six years earlier, and the one thing that can destroy the fragile trust they’ve built.

Undeniable Rogue (The Rogues Club, Book One)Undeniable Rogue
by Annette Blair
FREE on Kindle

Widowed, penniless Sabrina Whitcomb isn’t looking for romance. What she needs is a husband, and she knows well enough that romance and matrimony aren’t always compatible.

While providing for her twins and the child she now carries is paramount, wedding a virtual stranger — even a wealthy one, like Gideon St. Goddard, Duke of Stanthorpe — is no light matter. Sabrina knows the friend who arranged the union would not promise her to a true scoundrel, but one look at her future husband convinces her that he is a shameless rogue. A shockingly handsome and desirable one, at that.

Why did he agree to marry her? When Gideon flashes his wicked, seductive smile, the reason hardly matters, but the chance that he’ll steal her heart becomes all too real…

CON TEST: Double LifeCON TEST: Double Life
by Rahiem Brooks
*OFFER EXPIRED*
FREE on Kindle

William Fortune is a novelist who has created spine-jolting and masterful crime thrillers that catapults him to the Best Sellers List and blockbuster films. His prismatic life is being chased down by the intricately mystifying Justice Lorenzo, a con man who has been feeding William his plots for years. All is well considering William’s earnings keep Justice Lorenzo on the run from the Secret Service for identity theft, fraud related crimes, and the unthinkable: murder.

A problem arises when Justice demands that William write his latest novel, DOUBLE LIFE, with the exact facts that placed Justice on the run. William refuses because that may lead to Justices arrest, and maybe his too, as an accessory after the fact. As a result William finds himself kidnapped, tortured and his wife doing the unthinkable to get the ransom money.

The action in CON TEST brings LAPD and the Philadelphia Secret Service Agency to a complete halt and readers will be baffled to find that William’s fiction novel jolts to life.

I thought I could renjoy reading the kindle book on my laptop or pc, but it just isn't portable enough. I am watching and trying to learn about tablet devices..it's all so confusing.

Denise Peoples May 21, 2012 at 3:24 pm

I started using the free Kindle download for my phone. I loved it but the screen is small. Later I was given a gift of a Kindle and I cannot tell you how much I love it !! It's with me no matter where I go. It fits in my purse easily and between Pixel of Ink and another site for Christian books called Inspired Reads I have all the reading material I'll ever need ! And…..of all the books I have on my Kindle I have only paid cash for 3-4 ! Happy, Happy, Happy !!!

Vickie Poling Sapp May 21, 2012 at 3:27 pm

I have had 2 Kindles and I love them both. My first Kindle still works but I got a new Kindle Fire for Christmas and it is great. I have seen the Nook and other e-readers but prefer the Kindle Fire over all others I have seen. Just my opinion! Happy reading.

So many books! So little time! Thank You Pixel!

Becky Gongwer May 21, 2012 at 3:53 pm

Ok, this list is exactly what I have been talking about… You have cookbook listed first in the types generes, HOWEVER, it is obviously not the first book, but rather the last one.

This why I keep asking you (POI), to please put the genre next to each book / title.

Becky Gongwer May 21, 2012 at 4:02 pm

plus I see a Christian Fiction in this list, but it is not mentioned in the genres that are listed. I believe I am not alone in this request. Please put the genre with each title.,(If need example, check out Ereadernewstoday.com

Becky Gongwer May 21, 2012 at 4:09 pm

another case in point… you have only 4 generes listed, but their are 5 books. One can see which is the cookbook, but the others are not as easy to identify.
For those, such as myself, who are looking for certain types of books, it is harder to aviod ones we do not want. (make sense?) If you, (POI), wants more example or you have question about what I am asking for, please feel free to send me a message via Facebook. (Anyone can send me a message, meven if not connected.) Thank you. :)

Becky Gongwer May 21, 2012 at 6:59 pm

case in point, this list and the next have only 4 genre categories, but there are 5 books in each post, and not in order of the books. Hopefully, that will help make sense of what I am asking. (not to group the genre categories at top of the page, but rather put it next to eack book title, offered. PLEASE!?! & Thank you, Becky :)

Becky Gongwer May 21, 2012 at 4:12 pm

Another question, sort of off subject,…
Do you (POI) have a Twitter account and post the links there as well? If so, what is your "handle"? Thanks :)

MeMaw XTwo May 21, 2012 at 4:38 pm

thank you… I really enjoy the books you offer.

Thank you X 10!

Judy Wendell Rutherford May 21, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Pat, have you found Inspired Reads on free Kindle books? Christian books.

Pat Carroll Marcantel May 21, 2012 at 6:03 pm

Judy, I've ordered so many kindle books, I can't remember if they were Inspired Reads or not. I've already deleted two of them–too racy.

Judy Wendell Rutherford May 21, 2012 at 6:06 pm

Inspired Reads are not racy I'm very particular about that. They are devotionals and Christian romance and mysteries. I dont even use pixel of ink anymore. Inspired Reads is a division of Pixel of Ink. I hope you can find it.

Tamera Pantejo May 21, 2012 at 5:57 pm

Books, books, I love to read. And more books. Free at pixelofink.com for Kindle.
