Empowered by a volatile mix of freedom and retribution, Georgia begins a journey of a lifetime.

Three Moons Over Sedona is an odyssey of the human heart, filled with secrets, regrets and finally forgiveness. Georgia is a survivor who learns that although you can never run away from yourself, you can – through pure determination – become the person you were always meant to be.

All John Rain wants is to get out of the killing business. But with his discretion, his reliability, and his unique talent for death by “natural causes,” no one is willing to let him just retire. So when an old nemesis from the Japanese national police force comes to him with a new job – eliminate Murakami, a killer even more fearsome than Rain himself – Rain knows he can’t refuse.

Aided by an achingly desirable half Brazilian, half Japanese exotic dancer he knows he shouldn’t trust, Rain pursues his quarry through underground no-holds-barred fight clubs, mobbed-up hostess bars, and finally into the heart of a shadow war between the CIA and the yakuza. It’s a war Rain can’t win, but also one he can’t afford to lose – a war where the distinctions between friend and foe and truth and deceit are as murky as the rain-slicked streets of Tokyo.

[Hot Deal] The Kennedy Brothers – Save 88%

The Kennedy BrothersThe Kennedy Brothers
by Richard Mahoney

The authoritative, gripping, and sometimes jaw-dropping account of the brothers who shaped a generation, and whose story of tragedy and triumph were intertwined.

Books about the Kennedys are legion. Yet missing until now has been the exploration of the bond between Jack and Bobby, and the part that it played in their rise and fall. Eight years apart in age, they were wildly different in temperament and sensibility. Jack was the born leader – charismatic, ironic, capable of extraordinary growth and reach, yet also pathologically reckless. Bobby was the fearless, hardworking Boy Scout – unafraid of dirty work and ruthless about protecting his brother and destroying their enemies. Jack, it was said, was the first Irish Brahman, Bobby the last Irish Puritan.

As Mahoney demonstrates with brilliant clarity in this impeccably documented, magisterial book, the Kennedys lived their days of power in dangerous, trackless territory. The revolution in Cuba had created a poisonous cauldron of pro- and anti-Castro forces, the CIA, J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI, and the Mafia. Mahoney gives us Jack and Bobby in all their hubris and humanity, youthfulness and fatalism. Here is American history as it unfolds. The Kennedy Brothers is a fresh and masterful account of the men whose legacy continues to hold the American imagination.

Really like pixel, but wish you would not Repeat books so much! Readers, they do repeat books!

Kim Kj Wyatt February 15, 2013 at 5:12 pm

I for one am glad they do repeats because there are days that I don't have the chance to get to the emails and then by morning the prices are usually back to normal. Like Cathy says by them repeating the books some of us get the chance to get them for free or on a deep savings.

Cathy Sanfilippo Flynn February 15, 2013 at 5:04 pm

I loved Three Moons Over Sedona. I for one appreciate you repeating books on the site as I don't get to check it as often as I'd like. It's so good to know that I'm not missing anything good. :)
