[Hot Deal] Hush by Eishes Chayil – Save 88%
Hush by Eishes Chayil
Inside the closed community of Borough Park, where most Chassidim live, the rules of life are very clear, determined by an ancient script written thousands of years before down to the last detail – and abuse has never been a part of it. But when thirteen-year-old Gittel learns of the abuse her best friend has suffered at the hands of her own family member, the adults in her community try to persuade Gittel, and themselves, that nothing happened. Forced to remain silent, Gittel begins to question everything she was raised to believe.
A richly detailed and nuanced book, one of both humor and depth, understanding and horror, this story explains a complex world that remains an echo of its past, and illuminates the conflict between yesterday’s traditions and today’s reality.

thank you for all of the great books!
How do you like your Kindle? Which one did you get… and why?
Trying to make a decision…..
none
I love all of my Kindles, I have a 1st Gen, 2nd Gen (my favorite!), had a keyboard, have a Fire…..they are coming out with a new Fire for Christmas……I love the 2nd Gen the best!!! It is the white one and handles better than the keyboard…..easier to see the keyboard on the white one.
Kindle Fire – I LOVE IT! It has a considerable amount of the functions that you have with an Ipad for about half the cost. Its small, easy to stick in your purse or bag, and seems to be quite durable and works great for reading as well as many apps.
I have the one with the keyboard. I love it. It's easy to use but doesn't have the fancy stuff I won't use anyway. Price is way better than the fire too. I have friends that love the fire but they use the extras, I just read on mine.
Cathy Earley I have the regular kindle. Absolutely love it!! Laughed at my daughter when she got hers first. Dumb thing. BUT now I will never be without a kindle again lol. Now I do wish I had bought the one that can actually go online though.
Wait for the second generation Kindle Fire to come out. You won't regret it. I have the first generation Fire and LOVE IT!!!
I also have a Kindle 3g also.
I have regular kindle.. easier to read in direct light without glare. However, if you want to use it for slight webbrowsing..where wifi is available (likely indoors) then get the fire.. then another however. (LOL) if you want a good kindle/webbrowser go for IPAD.. don't rush into ipad (new) if you can't afford it. IPAD 2 will do you just fine. I have ipad and kindle and use both equally. I prefer IPAD for the ability to see pictures /images and it handles pdf better.
agre with Nancy Haag on if you just want to read without the features as I mentioned in my previous post.
love it! I now have the kindle touch with 3G.
Cathy Earley I have the Kindle and love it to death. I got mine when it was on sale at wal-mart for $99 and they also gave me a $30 gift card which only made it $70. The best 70 I have ever spent
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you!
Thanks!
Thanks! These look good…
thank You Again for these wonderful books.
I have the Fire and love it. The Fire does not work well in direct sunlight but is awesome any other time. Love all that it does. If you like to read outside the Fire is probably not a good choice.
Whats the fire?
Kindle Fire – a reader/tablet from Amazon. Love mine!
Amazing freebies today. Check them out…

I have a kindle touch, and I love it. I also have an iPad which of course I downloaded my kind
Sorry about that, as I was saying I downloaded my kindle app. But found it tp heavy to hold while reading for an hour or so. That's why I decided to buy the kindle touch, and I love it.
Thanks for all the free books!
I have a kindle touch and kincle fire no compariison. Fire is great, touch very good!
Kindles beat my nook. Though my nook has a memory card in it. In fact I got one of the $79 kindles for my grandson and it is also very good.
I love my kindle 3G with keyboard. I bought it so that I could also buy the kindle book cover with the LED lights. So, when I read in bed the lights aren't too bright to interfere with my sleep when I shut it down and I can see the screen in the bright sunlight of day.
Thank you for the free books!
A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL is no longer free.
Love my K-Fire! It goes everywhere with me. No problems reading in any type of light. In bright light or direct sunlight, I just change the background to BEIGE, instead of white or black, due to the mirror-like effect brighter lights cause.
