Meet Bree MacGowan … smart, sexy and wanted for murder. Bree is shocked that Lt. Miles Brooks thinks she’s actually capable of murder. If he’d concentrate on finding clues, instead of trying to pin the death of her boss on Bree, he might actually catch the perp. If Brooks won’t look for clues, then Bree will, regardless of the danger.

Finding clues isn’t as easy as it seems and Bree loses her boyfriend and her job while in the pursuit of justice. A lethal encounter with the creepy soap star Gunnar Ericson makes her wonder if she’ll be able to discover the murderer’s identity before she also loses her life… The first book in the Bree MacGowan Series.

Flea has always been different from other students in school. He’s not smart or athletic, he’s shorter than kids five years younger than him and his facial features are so pointy that everyone avoids him. His foster mother constantly warns him to avoid attention, though Flea has no idea who’s after them. But Flea has recently discovered several abilities that change his life forever: snowy weather follows him wherever he goes, he stops snowballs in mid-flight and he builds anything in shop class in the matter of minutes despite his lack of training. An appearance on The Great Build-Off – a popular construction game show – leads him to a magical place he thought existed only in Christmas stories.

The order for the Flea’s Five Christmases series is as follows:

Imagine letting go of everything and finally finding it all… Author Heather Pardon spent many years chasing a life that was supposed to bring her happiness. By the time she’d reached her mid-forties, she had a charming house, two businesses, many friends and a good lifestyle, yet happiness and fulfillment still eluded her.

In this delightful and clever book, Ms. Pardon shares the story of how she left it all behind to follow her heart on a cross-Canada, soul-searching adventure in her RV only to finally discover everything she’d ever been looking for.

Following Daisies is a beautifully written and enchanting memoir that will capture your heart and send your imagination on a journey of it’s own. It’s a must read for anyone who also longs to follow the call of their soul.

Thank you. I love checking and "buying" books every day.
Prince of Tides is a beautiful book. Pat Conroy can make you stop and re-read sentences aloud just for their beauty.
I got The North Pole Challenge today. :)
