This is a wonderful sight. I have downloaded so many great books for free and have enjoyed being able to read for free. It's like having a giant library at my finger tips. And just like the library it's free.

I got my Kindle for my birthday last year. Honestly hadn't read a book in a long time. No time to shop, working late hours. Then in August, 2011 I retired due to downsizing. Picked up my Kindle and haven't put it down yet. Love Pixel of Ink…

Dave gave me a Nook one year for Christmas. The first time we went on a trip and I wasn't toting an extra bag full of books, he made the comment, "Best investment I ever made". I have to agree with him. I just recently was able to trade it in for a Color Nook! I love it! I still have to purchase paper/hard back books, but not often. When I do, it is mainly for Bible Study or for a friend. I really do enjoy having the convenience of an eReader! Even have my Bible on mine.

I have downloaded and read 500 free books and have 900 molre to read. I read at least one a day (retired) so am set for life. I have left orders to bury me with my Kindle. Not sure of the hereafter, I believe in heaven but the line at the gate may be long, so I want to be prepared.
