Bonnie Nichols wasn’t the kind of girl to crash a wedding. Or throw things. But somehow, she ends up doing both…at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding.

Bonnie has been in love with Chase Somers since elementary school and seeing him at the altar with the absolute wrong girl causes her to do the unthinkable—toss a shoe in his direction in order to try and stop it. But she doesn’t count on the shoe knocking him out. Nor does she count on the entire church knowing it was her who did the throwing. The shoe doesn’t stop the wedding, but it does make her the laughingstock of her town.

As Bonnie copes with both the embarrassment of her actions and the loss of the boy she has always loved, her best friend Jill attempts to yank her out of her despair by pushing her to use Match Me, an online dating service. Despite her skepticism, Bonnie agrees to go on a few dates, dates that end up going comically bad…

By the fall of 1918, the Great War has ended and the world is at peace, but there is little to celebrate in Germany. After four years of fighting for his homeland, Christophe Brecht returns to find there is little left of what he once called home. So when family friends ask him to travel to Munich to bring back their runaway daughter, Christophe agrees. When he finally locates Annaliese Duray, he discovers she is far different from the girl he once knew. Headstrong, idealistic, and beautiful, she is on the front lines of the city’s political scene, fighting to give women and working-class citizens a voice in Germany’s new government.

As the political upheaval ignites in Munich, so does the attraction between Annaliese and Christophe. With an army from Berlin threatening to squash everything Annaliese has worked for, both she and Christophe are forced to choose between love and loyalty.

The order for the The Great War series is as follows:

Living with friends and a surrogate family, he found himself threatened with a restraining order, kicked out of high school, living with a drug dealer and pushing away a girl he loved who gave him a chance.

Losing his sense of self, Adam moved downtown with his band mates. When he woke up in the hospital a second time, it was then in his darkest hour with a poisoned body and a deeply troubled mind that it came to him – an epiphany of hope and awakening.

Light in Shadows is a cautionary tale of adolescence, a young man’s journey to his darkest corners where at his absolute end, he discovers his spiritual beginning.

I enjoy this site a lot, but you guys need to do a better job of labeling Christian stuff, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. FYI the last two are both Christian books. That's fine, but there should be something in the summary to indicate the genre accurately. I hate wasting my time only to find out the book is not what was advertised.
