‘It’s his too, Maya! What if he wants it? What if?’ The little voice buzzed in my head, and just when I was about to turn away and run out of the clinic, my name was called.

Sixteen-year-old, Maya Rockwell, has it all: a new set of wheels, straight-A grades, and Alex, a hotter than Hades boyfriend with the personality of an angel.

When her best friend kicks off the biggest party of the school season, Maya and Alex jump at the invite for some innocent fun, certainly not the drugs and predatory older crowd they confront.

Maya barely escapes with her life: hers and another new one. She thought she had the answers, but in one terrifying moment, she can no longer pretend to be ignorant.

Policing relations between Heaven, Hell, and Earth is messy and violent, but Elise Kavanagh and James Faulkner excelled at it–until coming across a job so brutal that even they couldn’t stand to see one more dead body. Now they’ve been pretending to be normal for five years, leaving their horrific history a dark secret. Elise works in an office. James owns a business. None of their friends realize they used to be one of the world’s best killing teams.

After years of hiding, something stirs. Bodies are vanishing. Demons scurry in the shadows of the night. A child has been possessed. Some enemies aren’t willing to let the secrets of the past stay dead…

Series Info: If you enjoyed Death’s Hand, be sure to check out the entire Descent Series!

In the aftermath of a series of student riots in Seoul, the U.S. Congress rushes a bill into law calling for the complete withdrawal of American troops from South Korea. This sets off a chain reaction: North Korea attacks across the DMZ, Russia supports North Korea, the Chinese remain neutral, and the United States fights again alongside its South Korean allies. The full range of ground, air, and naval forces take part in vicious combat, first to hold off the North Korean onslaught, then drive them back.

on my Kindle Fire, touch the bottom of the screen when you are in a book and you get the home page sign, arrow and then Aa. Touch the Aa and it lets you change the fonts there.

Nicki Hauschildt July 25, 2012 at 2:46 pm

mine are also. i have a touch. i change my font then its huge.

Shilonqua Lee July 25, 2012 at 2:54 pm

I have a Kindle 3G. There is a little button with Aa on the bottom. Press it, and you can select your font size.

Stefanie Scalise Ragone July 25, 2012 at 3:00 pm

Right next to the home key is a button with an Aa on it. Press the button and just scroll the right until you find a size that works for you.

Darcy Romanoski Hennessey July 26, 2012 at 1:20 pm

Which kindle do you have? Mine has the keyboard on it. There is a button that has 2 capital A's – one bigger, one smaller. If you have a different kindle, then google it. I just typed in "how do I change font size on my kindle" and a whole bunch of options came up.
